Deep Dives unlock at Level 15. You'll accompany the Diver underwater, where you'll de-curse and rebuild underwater villages.
The underwater villages, which are inhabited by nagas, must also be de-cursed section by section. De-curse a section of the underwater village by dragging Magic to the cursed underwater resident. Once a section in the village has been de-cursed, you can begin to restore the buildings located there.
To return to the surface during a Deep Dive, click on the icon of a home that appears in the bottom left-hand corner. Once you're ready to continue the Deep Dive, click on the Underwater icon that appears by the dock.
The Underwater Mine
The underwater mine produces underwater bricks and edaloot. The underwater bricks are used to rebuild the nagas' nests, and edaloot is used to upgrade the nests and the rest of the underwater village.
Leaf and water stones can be used to craft edaloot. One leaf stone will produce five pieces of edaloot. One water stone will produce seven pieces.
Restoring Naga Nests
To restore a naga's nest, drag the pick across the residence to de-curse it. After the nest has been de-cursed, drag underwater bricks into the empty green spaces. When a nest has been completely rebuilt, you can upgrade the windows, doors, and edifices using edaloot.
Treasure and Underwater Rewards
Every time you use a piece of edaloot, you earn a deep light. Use deep light to unlock the treasure pouches and chests scattered around the underwater village.
The treasure chests and pouches include a variety of rewards, including:
- Coins
- Experience points
- Amber bits
- Cursed items
- Elements (which are used to upgrade fountains)
- Keys (which are used to unlock the final treasure chest)
The Diver stores the underwater items you receive in his backpack. To review the contents of the Diver's backpack, click on the icon of a satchel, which appears under the Achievements icon.
The Diver's backpack is different from your storage, so the items in his backpack don't also take up space in your storage. If the backpack becomes too full, one of the naga will offer to take the items to the surface for you.
Completing a Deep Dive
Once the final treasure chest has been unlocked, the current Deep Dive will end. A swimming icon will appear over the Diver's head. Click on the swimming icon to return to the surface and end the deep dive.
The Diver leaves the items you received underwater on the dock. Tap on them to collect them; once you're above water, the items will be kept in your storage.
After resting for a while, the Diver will be ready to go on another Deep Dive.
